About One Match

Attention is the product.

One Match is a dating app built around a simple limit: one active match at a time.

Our belief

More choice has not made dating clearer.

Most dating products treat attention as an endless resource. Profiles become a queue, matches become tabs, and every conversation competes with the next option.

When two people match on One Match, there is nowhere else to browse.

That constraint does not promise chemistry. It gives chemistry a fair test.

The rule is real.

01

One active match

Both people leave the pool when a mutual match begins.

02

A clear decision

After 72 hours, both people privately choose keep or discard.

03

Accountability after commitment

A record exists only after both people kept the match and it later ended.

04

One equal price

No boost, tier, or payment changes who sees you.

Success means you leave.

One Match should work for a month or two, help someone form a relationship, and then become unnecessary. A longer session count is not the goal. Longer kept relationships and successful departures are.

We will publish named success stories only when real members choose to share them.

Things we will not build

  • Swipe decks, match queues, boosts, super likes, or paid visibility.
  • Public reviews, star ratings, desirability scores, or leaderboards.
  • Ads, data sales, third-party trackers, or precise location tracking.
  • Read receipts, typing indicators, or alerts designed to create anxiety.

Where we plan to start

The first planned markets are the United States and Canada. Quebec remains under legal review because its biometric privacy rules need separate approval before identity verification can launch there.

One Match is in development. Features, timing, and market availability may change before release.
