A one-time code protects account access and blocks two active accounts from using the same number.

No precise location

OneMatch uses a city or metro area, never live or exact location tracking.

Private safety reports

Safety answers go to trained reviewers and never become public relationship records.

Report, block, or unmatch

In-app reporting will be available from chat and profiles. Blocking stops direct contact. Unmatching ends the relationship for both people immediately.

A report stays open even if the reporter later unmatches. The reported person does not receive the reporter’s private safety answers.

People make enforcement decisions.

OneMatch plans a moderation queue from the first release. Reviewers can warn, suspend, or ban an account and must record the reason for every action.

  • A single report does not trigger an automatic ban.
  • Reports include match context needed for a fair review.
  • A ban survives app reinstalls, account deletion and restore, and verified phone changes.
  • An appeal route remains available after suspension or removal.

Safer first dates

  1. Meet in a public place and control your own transport.
  2. Tell someone you trust where you are going and when you expect to return.
  3. Keep financial details, identity numbers, and account codes private.
  4. Leave if you feel pressured. You do not owe politeness at the cost of safety.
  5. Report threats, fraud, coercion, or sexual misconduct to OneMatch and the right local authority.

OneMatch does not run criminal background checks.

Phone verification proves control of a number at sign-in. It does not prove that someone is safe, honest, single, or free of a criminal record.

Use your own judgment and the same care you would use when meeting anyone new.

If you need urgent help

Call 911 in the United States or Canada if anyone faces immediate danger. Local services can act faster than an app company.
