Identity and age verification
Every member must complete a phone check and a Stripe Identity document-plus-selfie check before entering the pool. The planned process confirms adult age, ties one account to one verified document anchor, and makes repeat accounts harder.
One Match plans not to store the document image, selfie, or biometric template. Verification does not prove that someone is safe or truthful in every part of a profile.
Criminal background checks
One Match does not conduct criminal background checks or continuous criminal monitoring.
Public records may be incomplete, delayed, or tied to the wrong person. Identity verification must not be read as a background-check badge.
Report, block, and unmatch
Members will be able to report from chat and profile surfaces, block contact, and unmatch at every stage. Reports stay open after an unmatch.
Private safety answers route to trained human review and never publish as a relationship record. Immediate danger belongs with 911.
How One Match responds
Trust and safety reviewers may preserve evidence, limit features, remove content, warn, suspend, or ban an identity. They consider severity, available evidence, context, prior conduct, risk of further harm, and whether a report can be corroborated.
A single report does not trigger an automatic ban. Conduct that threatens personal or public safety receives priority.
Notice to affected members
When One Match removes a person for a serious safety violation, it may notify members who recently interacted with that person when notice can help them protect themselves and does not create a greater risk.
Define notification triggers, time window, wording, privacy review, escalation owner, and recordkeeping before launch.
Suspension, bans, and appeals
A banned document anchor cannot create a new account with another phone number. A member may appeal through support. A different reviewer should assess the appeal when practical.
One Match may withhold detail that would expose a reporter, reveal a security control, or create a credible safety risk.
Law enforcement requests
One Match will require a valid legal request unless law permits an emergency disclosure to address a credible threat of death or serious physical harm. Requests and disclosures must be logged and limited to what the law requires.
Add the legal request address, preservation process, emergency standard, reviewer authority, and member-notice rules.

The Colorado Attorney General says covered services must publish and submit a safety-policy URL and file an annual safety report. See the state’s official online dating safety page.
Counsel must enact and submit the policy, complete the annual-report process, approve safety training, define enforcement metrics, and verify the current rules and deadlines.
