The pool shows one person at a time: photos, prompts, intentions, values, and the information they chose to share. There is no swipe stack waiting behind them.
You can pass or express interest. A conversation opens only after interest is mutual.
Step two
Talk for 72 hours.
A mutual match removes both people from the pool. Neither can browse or appear to anyone else while the match is active.
- The conversation opens at once.
- The server sets one absolute 72-hour deadline for both people.
- Published relationship records become visible to the current match only.
- Unmatch remains available at every moment.
Step three
Choose privately.
At 72 hours, a 24-hour decision window opens. Each person chooses keep or discard. A choice stays private until both people answer or time runs out.

Staying requires a clear choice from both people. Nobody is kept in a match by default.
Step four
A kept match has no second timer.
Both people stay exclusive and keep chatting for as long as they want. The subscription is not required to sustain the relationship. One Match does not send re-engagement alerts to people who are already kept.
Either person can unmatch at any time. Ending a kept match creates one review obligation for each person before either returns to the pool.
Step five
A record only follows something real.
Passing, leaving during the first 72 hours, or discarding at the decision window creates no record. Only a kept relationship that later ends does.
