Relationship records

Nothing casual leaves a mark.

A record begins only after two people chose keep and the kept relationship later ended.

Only one path creates a record.

What happenedRecord?
Someone passed before matchingNo
Someone unmatched in the first 72 hoursNo
The decision ended in discard or silenceNo
Both kept, then the relationship endedYes, one obligation for each person

Facts and fixed choices, never a score.

The planned form asks about meeting in person, profile accuracy, communication, plans, clarity, disagreement, boundaries, how the relationship ended, and a short trait list.

  • No star rating or numeric average.
  • No free text in the first release.
  • No appearance or sexual feedback.
  • Duration and who ended the match come from the system.

The next current match is the reader.

Published records never appear in the pool or on a public page. They are served only after a new mutual match begins. Past matches and unrelated members cannot read them.

The reader can unmatch immediately if the record changes their decision.

Publication waits 48 hours.

Each submitted record receives a publication time 48 hours later. If both people submit, both records publish together so neither can read the other before writing.

An outstanding record obligation blocks only a return to the pool. It must not block login, account access, chat, subscription management, cancellation, or account deletion.

Safety reports never become records.

After the form, a separate private question asks whether anything felt unsafe. That answer goes to human moderation. It is not shown to a future match and does not produce an automatic ban.

What still needs a decision

Policy and counsel review required

The product spec does not yet settle whether a person can read a record about themselves, whether records they wrote appear beside records about them, how a record can be contested, or what survives account deletion.

One Match will not present those answers as settled until the product decision and legal review are complete.
