California notice at collection
If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, a notice must appear at or before collection. The California Attorney General explains that it should list each category and purpose and link to the full privacy policy.

The product plan says One Match does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Final CCPA applicability, lookback disclosures, sensitive-data limitation, agent process, and request methods remain open.
Washington consumer health data
The planned separate Consumer Health Data Notice covers profile and safety information that may fall under Washington law.
The final site must place any required link on the homepage and implement access, withdrawal, deletion, and appeal workflows before collection.
Colorado online dating safety
Colorado requires an online dating service with a Colorado member to publish a safety policy, submit its URL, and file an annual safety report. One Match’s draft is on the Colorado Safety Policy page.
Canada
Canada’s federal private-sector privacy framework centers on accountability, consent, limited collection, limited use and retention, safeguards, openness, access, and challenge. Provincial laws may apply instead or alongside federal law.
One Match needs a named privacy officer, cross-border processing disclosure, access and correction process, breach response, and province-by-province review. Quebec remains closed pending approval.
